REBRAND

To reflect our growing vision and roadmap, we’re rebranding from NewsCrypto, a name that we chose in the early days of our project, when our focus was largely on providing trustworthy informational and educational content. The new identity we chose is Numerico, keeping the same ticker but overhauling the brand identity with a catchy name that is more compatible with our focus on AI, trading features and more.

New developments

During the latter half of the year, we plan to introduce our L2 testnet to the public. This phase marks a pivotal moment in our journey, laying the foundational stones for a more secure, efficient, and user-centric trading environment.

We will also launch the first of our AI tools: our proprietary AI trading assistant that will specialize in creating trading strategies and analysing performance. Rather than offering just a single indicator, users will be able to create any custom indicators that they want with our tool, which will offer ready-to-go code that can be used on TradingView and other platforms.

In Q4 we will launch the mainnet of our L2, along with a generous program of ecosystem incentives for developers looking to build on Numerico. Part of these incentives will also be retroactively awarded to top testnet contributors and users.

To make building on Numerico easier than ever, we will also launch a customized AI-powered smart contract writing assistant, which will enable anyone to quickly and efficiently write and deploy smart contracts. With only a bare minimum of Solidity knowledge required, anyone with a novel idea for an on-chain protocol will be able to turn their creativity into a working mainnet product, guided by our AI assistant.

Additionally, we will release our state-of-the-art smart contract audit system which can check any smart contract for potential bugs and vulnerabilities. In just a few clicks, anyone will be able to check if any newly launched token is a honeypot or if the code behind a protocol they’re building on our L2 is vulnerable to any exploits. As with our other AI tools, a version of the AI audit system will be available for free, while more advanced features will be available only to NWC stakers.

In the first half of 2025, our focus will be on launching on-chain staking on our L2 mainnet, which will offer a completely new governance and incentive structure for the token. Along with voting rights, users who stake NWC will gain access to exclusive benefits for a financial product we’re building in partnership with one of the most well-established institutions in the space (specifically in the field of fiat and crypto payment solutions).

Details can be disclosed upon signing an NDA, but what we can reveal is that it will be aimed at seamlessly bridging fiat and crypto, while offering token holders a host of lucrative benefits. The financial product will also give us leverage in negotiating new partnerships both within and beyond crypto.

In the second half, we’ll be focused on broadening the user base for our financial services product and introducing new features in partnership within crypto and non-crypto brands. This will tie in with the revenue sharing structure for on-chain NWC stakers, but we will also provide similar benefits for users who stake NWC in-app, thus capturing both crypto native users and those who are new to the space.

As we enter 2026, we plan to release the demo version of our game, set to redefine the confluence of cryptocurrency and gaming. This launch is not just about introducing another game into the market; it's about pioneering unparalleled levels of engagement, ownership, and reward. Our game promises to be a landmark in the GameFi space, setting new standards for what crypto games can be.
